We are a small group of life and craft re-enactors, both civilian and military, and we focus on the Viking period (800-1066 A.D.). Our group was founded early 2008 by three persons fond of textile craft and medieval re-enactment. Our aim is to re-enact different kinds of characters and craftsmen from that period. Some of us re-enact civilians, some prefer warriors and there are even some of us who do both. The number of members is deliberately kept limited, in order to maintain a family-like spirit of brotherhood that is dear to its founders. People who want to join our group can contact us by using the website form. Each candidature will be submitted to the vote of all the members. Selection criteria include the seriousness of the re-enactment approach, the degree of commitment and, of course, craft or war skills. Beginners need not worry as they are, of course, welcome if they are willing to seriously commit themselves to the study of a craft or of the art of war. Bienvenue sur le site de la troupe de reconstitution Úlfélagar (Les compagnons du Loup). Nous sommes une petite troupe de reconstitution d'artisanat et de vie civile et militaire, axée sur la période Viking (800 à 1066 ap J.C.), fondée début 2008 par trois personnes passionnées d'artisanat textile et de reconstitution médiévale. Notre but est de reconstiter tous types de personnages et d'artisans civils de cette période. Certains et certaines endossent aussi parfois des rôles de combattants. La troupe se veut volontairement réduite en nombre de membres afin de garder un esprit de fraternité cher à ses fondateurs. Celles et ceux qui souhaiteraient rejoindre la troupe peuvent nous contacter via le formulaire du site. Toute candidature sera soumise au vote des membres de la troupe. Les critères de sélection sont le sérieux de la démarche de reconstitution et les compétences artisanales ou militaires. Les débutants ne doivent pas s'inquiéter outre mesure, car ils sont bien sûr les bienvenus s'ils souhaitent s'investir sérieusement dans l'étude d'un artisanat ou du maniement des armes.
